What is 3D printing all about? This course is designed to answer all of your basic questions about 3D printing. Students will learn basic 3D printing theory and 3D object design. Students will also be trained to operate/maintain common 3D printers and will receive their safety/operation certification from Maker North! This 4 week course will focus on both FDM and SLA 3D printing. This course will feature freeware so students are ready to keep creating after the course is finished. Applications covered in the program will include TinkerCAD (a browser based CAD program), Cura, Chroma, Skanet and Inkscape. From multi colour 3D prints to 3D scanning, the Introduction to 3D Printing course will be the perfect start for your new passion!
